ARRESTO™: The innovative upgrade

The monitoring and recording ARRESTO™ system is available as an upgrade for exisiting arresting system installations. It works together with all energy absorbers using nylon tape as pay-out media (e.g. BAK-12, WT44).

• The ARRESTO™ maintains continuous monitoring of hook cable pre-tension with an optional alarm to the Air Traffic Control Tower
• The ARRESTO™ registers engagement speed, tape load, runout and time for post engagement analysis. All data is stored in an event log
• The ARRESTO™ does not impact the normal operations of the preformance of the Aircraft Arresting System, but provides detailed insight into the systems use

The ARRESTO™ is also available as a standard option for all new installations.
