The BC11 has been identified by the USAF as the next generation arresting system. It is the world’s only 40 ton full capacity brake with the flexibility to allow consecutive engagements with both light and heavy weight fighters. The BC11’s fully adaptive, computer controlled braking system offers high performance braking capacity throughout the full operational window without the need of manual pre-setting.
The electrical control system offers automated recording of arrestment data and continuous comprehensive self-diagnostics. The control panel features a user-friendly interface showing complete system status at all times.
Modular design allows for minimum service requirements. SCAMA is responsible for manufacturing, supply, and support of BC11.
